Message from the Kurdistan Students Association for the Golden Jubilee of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan

The text of the message from the Kurdistan Students Association for the Golden Jubilee and the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan:
The Kurdistan Students Association celebrates the Golden Jubilee of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and half a century of struggle for the honor and pride of the people of Kurdistan.
For 50 years, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, committed to its high and sacred values, has been struggling to establish equality and justice, and it continues to do so. Within this framework, the Kurdistan Students Association, which was born from the womb of the PUK during the most difficult stage of the Kurdish struggle, has continued the course of struggle in line with the party and with the same spirit. As part of this historic movement, it has always been committed to achieving high goals and stepping towards a more stable future for the students and youth of Kurdistan.
The Kurdistan Students Association, while proudly commemorating this historic day and recalling the glories of the past, also calls for future work to be done for the service of students and the educational process with a different vision and broader steps, and to deal with this important segment of society and this sensitive sector with a different understanding. What President Bafel Jalal Talabani has closely listened to regarding the demands and wishes of the students of Kurdistan in the past few years was a positive and major step towards creating a suitable and favorable environment, so we hope that these effective steps will continue. Because any investment in the process of education and in students is an investment in the future of society and the building of a stronger and more advanced society. Any support for students and helping them is nurturing a generation that can become pioneers and lead society in the future, directing our country towards a brighter horizon with their innovative and creative thinking and bringing about positive change.
We are confident that the President and the leadership of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan realize these truths more than anyone and that their future steps will respond to the important demands of today's students and youth.
