Rafaat Abdullah: Be at the service of the student community in a civil manner and far from partisan Influence

Rafaat Abdullah, Deputy President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, extended his warmest congratulations to the students for the 49th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Students Association, asking them to be at the service of the student community in a civil manner and far from partisan hegemony.
"On the anniversary of the founding of your organization, I extend my warmest congratulations to you. Your struggling organization has played a major role in serving and supporting students in all stages, continuously fulfilling the legitimate demands of that knowledge-seeking community. Through your civil efforts and struggle, you have secured a modern and contemporary education system. Today, as science and education are rapidly advancing, we are confident that your organization will keep pace with the changing world and developments. Although your organization has had a role in nurturing and producing many capable leaders who are now continuing their party and organizational work within the (PUK), or are serving in the institutions of the regional government, this is an honor to be proud of.
My comrades in the Students Association,
Although the history of your organization is a shining record of civil and modern struggle, the anniversary of your organization should be an opportunity for a critical review of your organizational work experience and for setting up a contemporary program with other student organizations to be at the service of the student community in a civil manner and far from partisan hegemony.
On this anniversary, we lay a wreath of loyalty and bow our heads in respect to the martyrs of the history of the struggle of the Kurdistan Students Association. Once again, congratulations on April 26th, the founding anniversary of the Kurdistan Students Association."
