The Kurdistan Students Association presented an award of appreciation to Lawi Hariz, the student who won first place at the global level in the international mental math competition.
In addition to Lawi Hariz, the Students Association also presented an award of appreciation to teacher Balen Hawrami, who is the student's supervisor at the Sulaimani Institute.
The competition took place in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, with the participation of 450 children from 16 countries around the world.
In the same context, the Students Association gave a special award to another student named Abdullah Peshawa, who won second place in the competition. Within this framework, teacher Peshwaz Shafiq, the student's supervisor at the Kurdistan Future School in Erbil, also received an award of appreciation from the Students Association.
