The Student Association and Two Sulaymaniyah Universities Offer a Golden Opportunity

The Kurdistan Student Association, in collaboration with Sulaymaniyah Polytechnic University and the University of Sulaymaniyah-Jihan, is offering a golden opportunity for students who aspire to turn their ideas from imagination into action.  


This opportunity is open to all students, encouraging them to participate in an innovative project initiative. This effort is part of a joint activity organized by the Kurdistan Student Association, Sulaymaniyah Polytechnic University, and the University of Sulaymaniyah-Jihan. 

Activity Description
This is a collaborative initiative between Sulaymaniyah Polytechnic University, the University of Sulaymaniyah-Jihan, and the Kurdistan Student Association.  


Through the link below, students and graduates of colleges and institutes can submit their innovative project ideas, transforming their concepts into reality. The initiative aims to connect student and graduate innovations with employers, companies, and the public and private sectors.  


This activity will serve as a bridge between universities and the job market in the Kurdistan Region.

Key Dates
1. April 7, 2025 – May 7, 2025: Submission of project proposals.  
2. May 10, 2025: Notification of accepted project ideas.  
3.May 10, 2025 – July 10, 2025: Submission of project models for final evaluation.  
4. August 1, 2025: Announcement of approved project models.  

Project Submission Guidelines
1. The project must be innovative and provide a solution to a problem.  
2. There is no age restriction for participation.  
3. Projects can be submitted individually or as a group.  
4. Applicants must be current students or graduates of any university in the Kurdistan Region or Iraq.  
5. The project or model must be original, and the submitter(s) must own the intellectual rights.  
6. The project should be feasible and practical.  
7. The project should be suitable for implementation in the public or private sector.  
8. No project will be accepted under the name of a company or commercial entity.
