President Bafel Jalal Talabani: “We Must Support All Universities in the Kurdistan Region”

President Bafel Jalal Talabani, Supervisor of the Kurdistan Student Association, described the historic success of Sulaimani University as a source of immense pride and emphasized that “it is our collective duty to support all universities in the Kurdistan Region.”

In a message congratulating Sulaimani University on securing first place among universities in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in global rankings, President Bafel Jalal Talabani stated: “I wholeheartedly congratulate the president, professors, staff, and students of the Mother University [Sulaimani University]. This historic achievement is a tremendous source of pride for us all.”

He added: “It is our responsibility to support all universities in the Kurdistan Region to help them reach higher levels of excellence. We stand fully behind our esteemed professors and dedicated students in every university across Kurdistan. Together, we must elevate education and science to global standards and write a glorious chapter in the history of our Kurdistan.”

President Bafel Jalal Talabani also highlighted that past efforts to serve students and improve educational processes have been crucial steps toward creating a conducive academic environment and addressing student needs. He assured: “We will continue serving you with the same dedication in the future.”
