A teacher from the University of Human Development ranks first among Middle Eastern universities

In an annual competition organized by Huawei in partnership with the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies, Dr. Omed Hassan Ahmed, a teacher at the University of Human Development, won this year’s Best Teacher Award at the Middle East and Central Asian university level.

The competition saw participation from over 1,200 universities representing 24 countries, all vying for the title of "Teacher of the Year." In the final round, contested by six universities, Dr. Omed Hassan secured first place, becoming the first Kurdish teacher to earn this prestigious accolade.
