Dênî Adnan, a student at Halabja University, has won the title of "Iraq’s Youngest Scientific Researcher" for the second consecutive year.
His research in computer science was published in a high-impact international journal, marking a significant achievement for a Kurdish student from a university in the Kurdistan Region. This accomplishment positions him as a contributor to global scientific discourse.
Bawer Mohammed, Director of the International Rankings Office at Halabja University, stated: "After encouraging our students to publish their research in international journals, we’ve achieved impactful results, elevating our university’s standing."
Dênî’s success is not confined to the closed walls of the university library. Instead, it has become a source of motivation for other students and a living example of how Kurdish youth can innovate in academia.
Dênî’s supervisors and colleagues emphasize that such scientific research will play a vital role in advancing Iraq’s and Kurdistan’s higher education environments. This achievement is a positive indicator for the future of scientific research in Kurdistan.
