In the United Nations calendar, January 24th is designated annually as International Education Day. On this occasion, the Kurdistan Student Association extends its heartfelt congratulations and pledges unwavering support to all education advocates and professionals. We stand united with you in advancing this vital and transformative sector of humanity.
As the Kurdistan Student Association, we are proud to announce the EduVision Project (Didi Pêwerde), a special initiative dedicated to students and educators. Born from the association’s ongoing activities, the EduVision Project aims to serve the education sector. We promise to share full details of this initiative with you soon.
We are committed to energizing the engine of education across all its diverse and critical dimensions. We firmly believe that strengthening the scientific and intellectual foundations of our society’s progress hinges on a robust education sector.
From a scholarly perspective, the Kurdistan Student Association envisions the education sector as akin to the "Ship of Najmaddin Mala"—a reference to the school he established, which illuminated the lives of over 7,000 students, rescuing them from the darkness of illiteracy.
We strive to ensure that the education sector continues its journey in harmony with this historic "ship," anchoring safely on the shores of knowledge and enlightenment.
Once again, we congratulate you on this occasion and recall the timeless words of Nelson Mandela: "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
