At its main building, the Kurdistan Students Association welcomed the Association of Veteran Organizations of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), where discussion and the exchange of ideas were the main focus of the visit.
Kara Omar, head of the coordination and follow-up department of the Students Association, mentioned that they hosted and welcomed a part of the staff of the PUK's Association of Veteran Organizations. During their meeting, they discussed several important issues concerning students and youth.
Furthermore, he stated, "In their meeting, they discussed the academic and scientific activities of the Students Association for the service of the education and science process in the Kurdistan Region."
During their visit, Osman Abdullah, the deputy head of the Association of Veteran Organizations, expressed his thanks and praise to the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan for reactivating the Kurdistan Students Association and bringing a group of young men and women into the political, social, and cultural arena.
In another part of his speech, the deputy head of the Association of Veteran Organizations wished the Students Association a prosperous and successful future.
Bakr Mohammedi, a supervisor and retired teacher, also said in a statement to the Kurdistan Students Association's website: "The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan should be highly appreciated because he has become a good motivator for serving the team that wants to serve the student community."
