titled "Medical Procedures" for students at its main building. For
this purpose, 75 learners participated and were awarded certificates.
Through the Kurdistan Students' Association, 250 students
registered to participate in the medical procedures course, but 75 students

The core principles of the course were introduced to the

benefit appropriately from their participation. The course continued for three
days.
On the first day, participants were introduced to
different types of injections, which included (subcutaneous injections,
intramuscular injections, and allergy injections).
On the second day, (blood drawing) was an important
lesson in the medical procedures course, and work was done on the two methods
we have specified below.
Selecting
a suitable vein for drawing blood.
Different
types of syringes and tubes.
On the third and final day, (cannulation) became the
main topic of the course, which was covered in two main points.

a suitable vein for placing a cannula.
Flushing
the cannula with normal saline.
The Medical Procedures Course was presented by Mr. Hardi
